Implement in stages with acceptance criteria and failure-path testing appropriate to the workflow.
Production
Deploy with named ownership, access boundaries, monitoring appropriate to risk, and documented dependencies.
Operate or hand off
Either close with a documented handoff or contract ongoing support based on the system's operational needs.
Change control
Material changes to scope, price, timeline, or risk should be agreed rather than silently absorbed into the build.
