Statement of Work
The SOW should identify scope, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, responsibilities, acceptance, price, and change control.
Master terms
Where an MSA is used, either party's paper can be reviewed and negotiated rather than presenting one public template as universally accepted.
Confidentiality
NDA terms can be put in place when sensitive information must be shared; the actual executed document controls.
Data terms
DPA, BAA, SCC, or similar documents are described as available only when applicable and executable for the actual parties and vendors.
IP
Ownership, reusable background tools, third-party components, and license rights are defined in the applicable contract rather than assumed from marketing copy.
